Kalapath – The heritage and preservation of folk dance and folk culture with innovation and creativity to contemporary trends. KALAPATH SANSTHA is the group of the organized artists lead by Mr. Kushal Dixit and Dr. Mrunal Bhatt Dixit prepare and perform various folk dances of Gujarat. The basic aim of the institute is to maintain the tradition with the scope of the creative individual talent. The Group is intently Supported by Shree Manubhai Dixit Smt. Purnimaben Dixit and Prof. Dr. Chetan Trivedi.

Kalapath Sanstha, managed by Shree Sant Shraddha Education Trust have made Bhavnagar as its workplace since 2004 and known by its art and culture and it is famous not only in Gujarat but in the other states also. The members of the Kalapath Sanstha are well-educated, skilled and well-trained. They have performed at various performances in professional, Government and semi government Project throughout the years.

Kushal Dixit

Kushal Dixit is a Director, Creative Choreographer and a Creative Artist, who prepares and performs various folk dances of Gujarat. He is the leader and founder of Kalapath Sanstha and received many honors and fame. Kushal Dixit is a hard worker and devoted to the folk dance and folk culture. His main focus is to preserve and promote the true values of ancient tradition and culture to the young generation in these modern days. He has created and prepared a number of young students into hardworking, disciplined, clever and devoted artists. He has trained more than 300 artists for various folk dances in more than 100 shows of creative reputation.

Objectives – Vision & Mission

To preserve, sustain, maintain and promote Folk culture, Folk Dance and Folklore under the umbrella of public charitable trust, SHREE SANT SHRADHDHA EDUCATION TRUST, BHAVNAGAR.
To train and educate young students from Universities and Colleges to understand the roots of Folk Dance with its historical, cultural and literary contexts.
To record, compose and perform theme based various folk dances at various Government, Semi-Government and professional level program.
To compose and choreograph various folk dance with contemporary touch without losing its traditional values.
To inculcate life lessons and human values among artists through different programs at various places.
